Professional Experience
In 2012, Sheba was selected as a Code for America Fellow, where she led the development of Honolulu Answers, an open-source Q&A web platform for city services. The project’s success led to its adoption in multiple cities worldwide. Prior to her work in civic technology, Sheba built a 12-year career in User Experience (UX) and product design. She spent nearly seven years at Yahoo! as a UX Lead, where she designed user-centered digital experiences for millions of users.
Currently, alongside her role at Code for Pakistan, she serves as a Senior UX Strategist at Exygy, a San Francisco-based digital agency that collaborates with civic and social impact organizations. Sheba helps create inclusive, human-centered digital solutions for communities and changemakers.
Education
Sheba holds both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, a multidisciplinary program combining computer science, psychology, and design thinking.
