Owais Shah Appointed as Member of Prime Minister’s National Youth Council for Contributions to Entrepreneurship and Economic Development

Owais Shah has been appointed as Member of Prime Minister of Pakistan’s National Youth Council in recognition of his contributions to entrepreneurship and economic development.

As an award winning young entrepreneur with experience in real estate and e-commerce, Shah was named by the Governor of Punjab among 50 Outstanding Citizens of Punjab on Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day.

Currently pursuing a Master of Studies in Entrepreneurship at the prestigious University of Cambridge, Shah previously earned a BSc (Hons) in International Business, Finance, and Economics from the University of Manchester. In 2017, he made history as the youngest appointed coordinator at the Prime Minister’s Office. Recently, he was appointed as Senior Political Advisor by the British Foreign Office (FCDO) to its diplomatic mission in Pakistan, where he supports UK-Pakistan strategic interests.

With a strong background in business, governance, and policy advisory, Shah’s appointment to the Prime Minister’s National Youth Council reflects his continued commitment to shaping Pakistan’s economic and youth-driven future.
