Professional Experience
Nooruddin began his career by managing key departments like marketing, finance, accounts, and production. Today, he serves as the CEO and Managing Director of three major companies: Rupali Polyester Limited, Rupafil Limited, and Rupali Nylon (Pvt.) Limited. Over the years, he has gained deep experience in plant operations, corporate management, and financial dealings with banks and development finance institutions (DFIs).
From 2004 to 2010, Nooruddin also served as Chairman and Director of Swat HydroPower Limited. He continues to be a Director at Rupafil PowerGen (Pvt.) Limited. His leadership has helped these companies employ hundreds of workers and maintain a strong presence in the textile and energy sectors.
In 1991, when the group received permission to start a private bank, Nooruddin became one of the founding Directors of Soneri Bank Limited. The bank started operations in April 1992 and quickly gained public trust. Nooruddin played a major role in setting up the bank and helping it grow during its early years.
He also led the launch of Rupafil Limited in 1992—a major industrial project worth Rs. 2,500 million that manufactures filament yarn and polyester chips. This project was financed by international organizations like IFC and CDC.

He directly oversees human resources for all Rupali Group companies (excluding Soneri Bank), focusing on employee development and workplace efficiency.
